BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj.
Days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the repeal of controversial agricultural laws, BJP MP from Unnao Sakshi Maharaj said that the laws can be brought back if needed. Talking to the media in Unnao, Sakshi Maharaj said, ‘Bills keep on being made, they keep on deteriorating. Will come back, will be made again. It doesn’t take long.’
Maharaj said, ‘I will thank Modi ji for showing big heart and choosing the nation over laws. Those whose intentions were wrong and those who raised slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ and ‘Khalistan Zindabad’ have got a befitting reply. He also said that there is no connection between the 2022 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections and the announcement to repeal agricultural laws.
BJP will get more than 300 seats in UP elections
The BJP MP further said that the BJP (403-member seat) will win more than 300 seats in the 2022 UP assembly elections. There is no replacement of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in India, he said. At the same time, Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra said that if needed, the law can be made again. Mishra said, ‘The decision of the central government is commendable. Agricultural law was in the interest of farmers.
He further said, ‘The government constantly tried to convince the farmers. Still, the farmers were agitating and were adamant that the law should be withdrawn. In the end, the government felt that the law should be withdrawn. Then if there is a need to make a law in this regard, then it will be made again. For the time being it is being withdrawn.
