Rajkumar Singh, the only MLA from Lokjanashakti Party (Ljp) from Matihani in Bihar, is joining the JDU by breaking ties with the party. Actually, MLA Rajkumar Singh was upset with the party’s national general secretary giving show cause notice. Due to this displeasure, he has made up his mind to join the JDU. Rajkumar will soon meet Assembly Speaker Vijay Sinha to inform and fulfill the formalities and complete the process of joining the JDU.
In fact, during the election of the Deputy Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly, LJP MLA Rajkumar Singh supported his candidate for the post of Deputy Speaker in the Assembly. After this, the national general secretary of LJP handed him a show cause notice through the press. It was only after this attitude of LJP that Rajkumar made up his mind to leave the party.
‘The decision is difficult but I am hurt by the behavior of the Secretary-General’
MLA Singh said that no instruction was given from the party about the election. At the time of the Speaker’s election, he was asked to vote in favor of the NDA. Therefore, they also voted for the NDA for the post of vice-president. Rajkumar Singh said that this decision is very difficult for him, but he is very hurt by the behavior of the National General Secretary and that is why he is doing so.
JDU was already eyeing Rajkumar
Ever since winning the election, both JDU and BJP were putting a lot of pressure on Rajkumar Singh. On behalf of JDU, Executive President Ashok Chaudhary and Munger MP Rajiv Ranjan Singh wanted to include him in JDU. So at the same time, Health Minister Mangal Pandey was taking command from the BJP. Rajkumar Singh was in touch with both.
What role will Rajkumar Singh play in JDU
According to sources, Rajkumar Singh will be given an important role in the organization of the JDU party at the moment, as well as he is being said to be given the status of Minister of State. Not only this, Rajkumar Singh, joining JDU under the leadership of Rajiv Ranjan Singh and Ashok Chaudhary, can be placed in more important positions in the party and in the government.
