RJD has announced the names of its three candidates for the elections to be held on seven seats of the Bihar Legislative Council. RJD has tried to create social equation by fielding Muslim-Dalit and Savarna.

The RJD has taken care of the social equation in the selection of the candidate and has tried to cater to the three Muslim Dalits and the upper castes.
Jagdanand Singh told that after consultation with RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, RJD has announced the names of its candidates for Bihar Legislative Council.
Biggest loss to JDU
The term of seven members of the Legislative Council in Bihar ends on July 21. Most of them are five from JDU and 1 seat of BJP, while one seat of VIP’s Mukesh Sahni is falling vacant. Among them were five JDU’s Mo Qamar Alam, Ghulam Rasool, Rozina Nazish, Ran Vijay Kumar Singh, CP Sinha alias Chandeshwar Prasad Sinha. While one seat was BJP’s Arjun Sahni. In these seven seats, 6 seats were in NDA in which five seats were in the account of JDU. Now that JDU has become the third party in the Bihar Assembly, then JDU can suffer the most. According to the number of MLAs in Bihar, 31 votes are needed for a seat, after which two seats for BJP, two for RJD and one for JDU can be obtained. So Congress can also stake claim on one seat there.
RJD took care of social equation
RJD has taken care of the social equation while announcing the names of its three candidates and has made Muslim, Dalit and Savarna its candidates. The dates for the elections to the seven seats of the Bihar Legislative Council have been announced. Nomination for this will be done from June 2, this nomination can be done till June 9. At the same time, the scrutiny of nomination papers will be done on June 10. Nominations can be withdrawn till June 13. Nominations will be held on June 20. Also, the result will be released on June 20 itself.
