There has been a decrease in new cases in the third wave and now the figure has come down to two thousand. In Patna, where more than 2 thousand cases were being reported, now less than 300 corona cases are coming up. On Monday, 224 new infected have been found here. With this, the number of patients recovering in Bihar has now almost tripled as compared to the new patients. Even though the news of decreasing number of new patients in Bihar is a relief.
But the constant death due to infection remains a concern. On Monday, once again 3 infected people admitted to AIIMS Patna have died, it is being told that they died due to non-functioning of many parts of the body. All three patients were female
Three women died a day earlier too
The patients who died have been identified as 37-year-old Mamta Kumari of Saran, 54-year-old Meena Devi from Buxar, 71-year-old Shyam Lal Devi, a resident of Munger. Mamta Kumari was admitted to AIIMS on 23 January. But he died only after 24 hours. While 54-year-old Meena Devi, a resident of Buxar, has also died, she was admitted on Tuesday itself. So there, 71-year-old Shyam Lal Devi who was a resident of Munger also died. He was admitted to the hospital on 24th. A day before this, three women had died in Patna AIIMS.
Cases decreased in other districts after Patna
Here the death due to corona is definitely a matter of concern. But its speed has also reduced in other districts including Patna. In Patna, 224 new cases have come in 24 hours, whereas, 185 in Bhagalpur, 113 in Begusarai, 120 in Purnia, 103 in Saharsa, 102 in Samastipur. The Health Department has also breathed a sigh of relief due to the slowdown in the pace of infection. In Bihar, due to the recovery of 4829 people in 24 hours, now the total number of people who have been cured has increased to 7,86,317. Whereas the recovery rate has also increased to 96.68% now.
