On the occasion of Holi, people of Bihar go to their homes in large numbers from other states. Special trains are being run by Indian Railways to ensure that they do not face any problem in commuting. From March 9, these trains are being run from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Ernakulam to major cities of Bihar.
Railway gift to the passengers of Bihar on Holi
Holi (HoliOn the occasion of this, the railways has given a gift to the passengers going to Bihar. Railways has started 13 pairs of special trains from 9 March to 5 April from major cities of the country.Special Trains) have decided to run. Railways has decided to run trains for five cities of Bihar from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Ernakulam. Actually, the crowd of railway passengers has started increasing due to the festival of Holi. The people of Bihar living in different states of the country want to go to their village, their city to celebrate Holi. After which the seats in the trains coming to Bihar are completely full for the last few days. Passengers are facing a lot of problems due to non-availability of seats. After which the Railways has decided to run festival special trains for major cities of Bihar to remove the hassle of the passengers.
In view of the increasing rush of passengers going to Bihar in Holi, Railways has decided to run 13 pairs of new trains for Bihar. The operation of these trains has started from Wednesday 9 March. These trains are-
04048/04047 Anand Vihar-Muzaffarpur Special
It will leave Anand Vihar at 23.00 hrs on 12th, 16th and 19th March and will reach Muzaffarpur at 21.15 hrs the next day. In return journey, it will leave Muzaffarpur at 23.00 hrs on March 13, 17 and 20 and will reach Anand Vihar at 23.30 hrs the next day, halting at Hajipur, Chhapra, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Chandausi, Moradabad stations.
04060/04059 Anand Vihar-Jaynagar-Anand Vihar Special
It will leave Anand Vihar at 10.30 hrs on March 11, 15, 18 and 22 and will reach Jaynagar at 14.50 hrs the next day. In its return journey, it will leave Jaynagar at 17.00 hrs on 12th, 16th, 19th and 23rd March and will reach Anand Vihar at 19.55 hrs the next day. It will stop at Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Jn., Buxar, Patna, Mokama, Barauni, Darbhanga and Madhubani.

It will leave Anand Vihar at 15.30 hrs on 12th and 19th March and will reach Jogbani at 22.30 hrs the next day. In return, it will leave Jogbani at 01.20 hrs on 14th and 21st March and reach Anand Vihar at 11.10 hrs the next day. It will stop at Moradabad, Lucknow, Ayodhya Cantt, Mau, Chhapra, Barauni, Naugachia and Purnia stations.

It will leave Anand Vihar at 00.30 hrs on 12th, 15th and 19th March and will reach Sitamarhi at 20.30 hrs on the same day. In its return journey, it will leave Sitamarhi at 00.15 hrs on 13th, 16th and 20th March and reach Anand Vihar at 23.45 hrs on the same day. It will stop at Moradabad, Lucknow, Narkatiaganj and Raxaul stations.

It will leave New Delhi at 19.25 hrs on 10th, 14th, 17th and 21st March and will reach Darbhanga at 16.30 hrs the next day. In its return journey, it will leave Darbhanga at 18.00 hrs on 11th, 15th, 18th and 22nd March and reach New Delhi at 16.40 hrs the next day. Moradabad, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Narkatiaganj, Sitamarhi etc. will stop at stations.

It will leave Anand Vihar at 11.10 hrs on March 10, 14, 17 and 21 and will reach Saharsa at 11.30 hrs the next day. In its return journey, it will leave Saharsa at 14.30 hrs on 11th, 15th, 18th and 22nd March and reach Anand Vihar at 13.55 hrs the next day. It will stop at Hapur, Moradabad, Lucknow, Deoria Sadar, Siwan, Muzaffarpur, Barauni, Begusarai stations etc.

It will leave Kolkata at 23.50 hrs on 15th March and will reach Raxaul at 13.35 hrs the next day. In return, it will leave Raxaul at 21.00 hrs on March 16 and reach Kolkata at 12.35 hrs the next day. Will stop at Vardhman, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Jasidih, Barauni, Samastipur, Kamtaul, Sitamarhi and Ghorasahan stations

It will leave Ernakulam at 23.30 hrs on 11th, 18th, 25th March and 1st April and reach Barauni at 23.00 hrs on Sundays. In its return journey, it will leave Barauni at 16.30 hrs on 15th, 22nd, 29th March and 5th April and reach Ernakulam at 14.30 hrs on Thursdays. Will go via Kiul, Asansol, Bhubaneshwar, Visakhapatnam, Salem, Coimbatore.
09061/09062 Bandra Terminal-Barauni-Bandra Terminal Special
It will leave Bandra Terminal at 11.00 hrs on 15th March and will reach Barauni at 06.00 hrs on Thursday. In return, it will open from Barauni at 22.30 hrs on March 17 and reach Bandra Terminal at 17.50 hrs on Saturday. Will go via Hajipur, Patliputra, Ara, Varanasi, Lucknow, Mathura, Kota, Surat.

It will leave Delhi at 23.00 hrs on 15th, 16th, 20th and 21st March and will reach Patna at 15.45 hrs the next day. In return, it will leave Patna at 17.45 hrs on 14th, 15th, 19th and 20th March and reach Delhi at 10.35 hrs the next day. Kanpur, Prayagraj Jn., Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Jn. and will stop at Danapur stations.

It will leave Amritsar at 14.50 hrs on 13th, 14th, 18th and 19th March and will reach Patna at 15.45 hrs the next day.
