Javadekar alleges EVMs found at TMC leader’s house
On the other hand, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar said, “Today there is a third phase of voting in West Bengal and then another attempt of TMC has come to light. Last night, 4 VVPATs and EVMs were found and seized from TMC leader Gautam Ghosh’s residence in Ulubedia. The machines were brought in by cars which were on election duty: this is more serious because there is voting today. The Election Commission has taken action to not use those machines and suspend the officer, but it seems that this can be a big deal. Therefore we demand that these VVPATs and EVMs found in his house should be thoroughly investigated.
