Number of patients is increasing continuously in Bengal
According to the information received, the number of patients is continuously increasing. There is a lack of basic facilities in the government hospitals of Kovid. The crowd of relatives along with patients is increasing constantly. Crowds of family members along with patients are overflowing in the Kovid ward. On the other hand, lack of oxygen cylinders has also been observed in Bolpur hospital. Hospital management says that earlier they used to demand as many cylinders as possible. It was made available by the management, but at the moment oxygen cylinders are not available according to the demand.
Five times increase in number of corona patients
Five times more cases have increased in Bengal. During the investigation of 25,766 samples in the state on April 1, only 1274 samples were found positive, then the positivity rate was 4.9%. On 24th, 55,060 samples were tested in which 14,281 positives were found, this rate of infection is 25.9%. Simply put, only one person out of the 20 who reached for investigation in early April was getting positive.
