Rift In West Bengal BJP: BJP National President JP Nadda is visiting Bengal on 7 and 8 June amidst the ruckus among the West Bengal BJP leaders. Before that, Dilip Ghosh has been given the responsibility of strengthening the booths in the states outside Bengal.
Bengal unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party ( Bengal BJP ) Between the ruckus and stampede, BJP National President JP Nadda seven more (JP Nadda Bengal Visit) will visit Bengal on June 8. During the Bengal tour, the party will hold a meeting with the leaders and make a strategy to strengthen the party organization. JP Nadda’s visit to Bengal is considered important in view of BJP’s Barrackpore MP Arjun Singh joining TMC. Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had visited Bengal last week. Meanwhile, in the BJP Core Committee meeting held in New Delhi, BJP National Vice President Dilip Ghosh (BJP Leader Dilip Ghosh) has been given the responsibility of ‘booth empowerment campaign’ of North East states including Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, but with this questions are being raised whether Dilip Ghosh has been removed from Bengal.
Former BJP state president Dilip Ghosh will have to handle the organizational responsibility of eight other states besides Bengal. BJP is starting ‘Booth Empowerment Campaign’ across the country for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. According to BJP sources, Dilip Ghosh has been given the responsibility of ‘booth empowerment campaign’ in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Andaman and four northeastern states of Manipur, Meghalaya, Assam and Tripura.
Dilip Ghosh was removed from the post of Speaker after Bengal Assembly elections
Let us tell you that the expected results of the assembly elections in Bengal were not received. Due to this, even before the end of the term, Dilip Ghosh was suddenly removed from the post of state president. He was made the All India Vice President in September 2021, but even after that, neither in Bengal nor in any other state of the country, he was not given any special responsibility. For a long time, Dilip Ghosh has worked in the state like himself. However, the distance between him and the state leadership was gradually increasing. Controversy also erupted over questions raised by state president Sukanta Majumdar about his experience or his remarks about opposition leader Shubhendu Adhikari. In such a situation, many people are considering giving Dilip the organizational responsibility of eight states as removing him from the state. However, many state BJP leaders claim that the All India BJP has multiple vice-presidents. Out of these, Dileep has been selected on the basis of merit.
Dilip Ghosh removed from Bengal BJP, other states got responsibility
Dilip Ghosh, an early member of the Sangh Parivar, became the state president soon after joining the BJP. During his tenure, BJP has achieved maximum success in Bengal so far. Dilip Ghosh himself became the first MLA and later the MP. The state president toured the entire state during his tenure. Many BJP people in the state are claiming that the central leadership would like to use the ‘experienced’ Dileep to strengthen the organization in Bengal, irrespective of the responsibilities of other states. However, a section of the state BJP is happy with the increasing responsibility of Dilip Ghosh. One of the leaders of that class said, “Dilip da sometimes makes such remarks that it becomes a problem. The central leadership had spoken to him several times about this. According to media reports, Dilip Ghosh said, “I am the MP of Bengal. I have to do booth empowerment program in Medinipur Lok Sabha constituency. That’s right, I have to travel a lot in different states now, but I will be present wherever I want the leadership in Bengal.”
