Lord Krishna’s birthplace is in Mathura. Here is the royal mosque near the temple and section 144 is imposed in this entire area. At the same time, now Maurya’s tweet has intensified the stir.
Keshav Prasad Maurya, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh
After a statement by Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, the political stir has intensified. Actually, the Deputy CM of UP made a tweet, in which it was written, ‘Ayodhya Kashi grand temple construction is going on. Mathura is ready. Mathura is ready. After which questions began to arise whether a solid pitch of Hindutva is being prepared in this election as well, on which BJP is preparing for vigorous batting. Does BJP once again want to cross the election road with the help of Ayodhya, Kashi and Mathura?
Political agitation has intensified after this tweet by Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya in the election environment. Questions began to arise that this time will Mathura be a big issue in the UP elections? Will Ayodhya, Kashi and Mathura be the big agenda in the UP elections? Will BJP make Hindutva a big issue in the election battle? Deputy CM Maurya wrote, Ayodhya Kashi grand temple construction is going on. Mathura is ready. Along with his tweet, Maurya also wrote #JaiShriRam, #JayShivambhu and #JayShriRadheKrishna.
This tweet by Keshav Maurya intensified speculation about the issue of Ayodhya, Mathura, Kashi, which has always been included in the agenda of BJP and RSS. There was talk of polarization in many circles. The question arises here that why did the Deputy CM of UP need to take the name of Mathura? Will this statement of Maurya bring a storm of votes? These questions are important because Mathura comes in western Uttar Pradesh and has a total of 136 assembly seats. In the 2017 elections, the BJP had won 109 of these seats.
That’s why the issue of the temple was raised
But in this election, Akhilesh Yadav of Samajwadi Party has made an alliance with RLAD and it is also being said that the image of BJP in western UP has also been damaged due to the farmers’ agitation which has been going on for a year. Perhaps the issue of the temple has cropped up to compensate for this. Lord Krishna’s birthplace is in Mathura. Here is the royal mosque near the temple and section 144 is imposed in this entire area. After all, what is the reason for increasing security from Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi temple to Shahi Masjid? What is the reason behind the police administration keeping a close watch on the miscreants?
All India Hindu Mahasabha announced to install an idol in the mosque
Actually, the All India Hindu Mahasabha had announced to install the idol of Lord Krishna in the royal mosque on 6 December. However, the administration did not allow this. In this connection, the police arrested three people including the secretary, treasurer of Narayani Sena. Apart from this, Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Mukti Dal also called for Kashi Mathura Sankalp Yatra on 6th December and rumors started flying on social media about all this. Earlier on 24 November 2021, a special report was sent by the Director General of CRPF to the Central Government.
What was written in the report?
It is written in this report of DG CRPF that according to the information, it is being announced in all the local mosques that the people of the Muslim community should not offer Namaz in any other mosque in the entire Mathura city. Rather, all the Namazis should come for Namaz in the Shahi Idgah Masjid only so that maximum crowd can gather. Except Friday, 5-6 people used to come for Namaz on other days too, but till now 30-35 Namazis are being gathered. The movement of some Namazis also seemed suspicious, in which they were secretly taking stock of the security arrangements of the Shahi Idgah Mosque. They were probably assessing what absolute security is? How many soldiers are stationed where?
According to the information received, there is a danger of deteriorating law and order or adverse effect or affecting social harmony. After this report, central intelligence and security agencies have become more alert. The security of Mathura has been increased further. Amidst high alert in Mathura, central agencies have also camped there. Due to the rumor of December 6, there is an atmosphere of tension in the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi temple and the surrounding areas.
What is the dispute about?
Where Lord Krishna was born, there was a prison earlier. Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple was built 80-57 BC. The second temple was built in 800 during the period of Vikramaditya. In 1017-18 AD, Mahmud Ghaznavi destroyed the temple. In 1150 AD, Maharaja Vijaypal got the temple rebuilt again. Then in the 16th century, Sikandar Lodi destroyed the temple again. After this the ruler of Orchha again built a huge temple. At the same time, in 1669, Aurangzeb broke the temple and built the Idgah mosque.
Let us also tell you here that the matter regarding the Idgah Masjid adjacent to the Krishna Janmabhoomi is in the court, because the Hindu side had claimed its land. But right now there is an atmosphere of tension in Mathura regarding the rumor of December 6 and the attempt to spoil the atmosphere. Therefore, from the temple premises to the social media, the police administration has a strict watch.
