Bank Holidays in April: We often have to go to the bank for many kinds of money related work. You have to go to the bank branch for money transactions, demand drafts, cash deposits or any other kind of work. Many times we think that the next day the banks will go and get the work done, but suddenly it comes to know that hey, that day is a holiday. Therefore, banks should know about the holiday in advance.
Let us tell you that in the next month i.e. April 2021, banks will be closed for 10 days including weekends and festivals. At the same time, in addition to these 10 days, banks will be closed for 5 days at the regional level in some states. In such a situation, you should keep a list of bank holidays in advance so that you do not have any problem for the work related to the bank.
Banks will open only 1 day in initial 4 days

Explain that in the first 4 days of April, the bank branches will open only on one day. Branches will be closed on 1 April due to bank account closing, then on 2 April it is Good Friday and then on 4 April it is Sunday. That is, between 1 to 4, banks will open only on 3 April.
Gazetted holidays are that day, banks across the country are closed. Apart from those holidays, according to the central bank RBI, banks will remain closed in most states on Good Friday, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti and Ram Navami. Under the Negotiable Instruments Act, the list of holidays notified by the RBI is released.
