Earlier today is the last day of the Jan Ashirwad Yatra of Anurag Thakur in Himachal Pradesh. Anurag Thakur reached his house in Hamirpur late at night. On Monday morning, he took the blessings of the family deity Avahadevi along with the family. Union Minister Anurag Thakur was given a grand welcome here.
Apart from this, Anurag Thakur also reached DAV School in Hamirpur, where he shared the memories of his school days with the students and teachers. Thakur also performed ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’ in Kaloor, Nadaun, Pragpur and Kangra.
Anurag Thakur returned home late at night, got emotional after touching his father’s feet
When Sports Minister Anurag Thakur reached home late in the night to seek blessings of his father from Shimla, Mandi Kangra, he could not stop himself after seeing his son’s increased stature and success. As Anurag Thakur reached the threshold of his house, he touched his father Prem Kumar Dhumal’s feet. After this Prem Kumar Dhumal hugged the son.
On seeing the son Anurag Thakur, tears of happiness started coming out of his eyes, seeing the spilled eyes of the father, Union Sports and Information Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur also became emotional. Anurag touched his feet and took the blessings of his father. Seeing the father and brother, BCCI treasurer Arun Dhumal standing in front also became emotional. Anurag Thakur’s father Prem Kumar Dhumal has been the CM of Himachal twice.
Every district of Himachal will get world class sports facilities
Sports Minister Anurag Thakur said that on getting the land from Himachal Pradesh Government, the Central Government is ready to open a state-of-the-art ‘High Altitude Sports Training Center’ near Dharamsala.
Thakur, MP from Rajya Sabha said that special efforts are being made to prepare Himachal Pradesh as a sports center and every district of the state will be given world class facilities related to sports.
‘National Sports Training Center to be built in Dharamsala’
Thakur said in a press conference in Dharamsala on Sunday, “The central government is ready to set up a National Sports Training Center near Dharamsala provided the state government provides the necessary land for it. ‘
“We will try to improve and expand the sports facilities in Dharamsala in the near future. We will also work on more sporting events in this city in the near future.
Thakur said that the Narendra Modi government is striving to improve the standard of sports in the country and best practice facilities are being provided to top sportspersons in the country and abroad.
Anurag Thakur will cover a distance of 623 km
During this, Sports Minister Anurag Thakur said that, during the time of the earlier governments, it used to take years for the vaccine to come in the time of an epidemic.
