Army Day 2022: Pakistan is sheltering terrorists on the border, Army Chief said – 400 terrorists trying to infiltrate

Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane said, ‘Our mutual cooperation with neighboring countries has increased further during the COVID epidemic. There has always been an important contribution of the Indian Army in the United Nations Peacekeeping Operation.

Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Narwane (Army Chief General MM Naravane) inspected the parade at Cariappa Parade Ground on the occasion. During this, he referred to Pakistan’s nefarious conspiracies and said, ‘Pakistan is helpless with its habit of harboring terrorists. Around 300-400 terrorists are sitting in cross-border training camps looking for an opportunity to infiltrate. “Efforts are also on to smuggle weapons by drones from across the border,” he said.

‘Last year has been challenging for Indian Army’ – Army Chief

The Army Chief further said, ‘During the COVID epidemic, our mutual cooperation with the neighboring countries has increased further. There has always been an important contribution of the Indian Army in the United Nations Peacekeeping Operation. Even today, more than 5000 soldiers of our army are deployed in different peacekeeping missions, which are giving a different identity to the country. At the same time, on the tension with China, Naravane said, ‘Last year was challenging for the Indian Army due to the standoff on the border with China. In the recently held 14th meeting, there was disruption at several points to keep the situation under control.

Soldiers martyred in Galwan struggle honored with ‘Sena Medal’

Army Chief General MM Naravane posthumously awarded Sena Medal for gallantry in the Galwan conflict to Sepoy Kundan Kumar Ojha on the occasion of Army Day. This honor was accepted by his wife. Apart from these, Major Anil Kumar and Major Mahinder Singh were also awarded Sena Medal. Commandos of the Army’s Parachute Regiment march in the Indian Army’s new digital combat uniform during the Army Day Parade to mark the 74th Army Day. This is the first time that the army uniform has been publicly unveiled.
