Houses being built in Andhra at such cost
The state government has allotted house sites by acquiring 68381 acres of land. There are 30.76 lakh beneficiaries in 17005 GREENFIELD COLONY. Its estimated cost is 23535. We are constructing 28.30 lakh pucca houses in 17005 greenfield colonies under PMAY Urban and Rural Program at an estimated cost of Rs 50,944 crore.
What is the demand of CM
The CM has written requesting PM Modi that the vision of this scheme cannot be fulfilled without providing basic facilities in greenfield colonies. The state government is engaged in this, but the burden of additional cost is falling on the state government. In such a situation, I appeal to you to personally intervene in this matter and instruct the ministries to provide basic facilities in greenfield colonies. So that the true purpose of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana can be fulfilled.
