UP Diwas: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met Mahindra group’s chairperson Anand Mahindra on Monday. During the meeting that held at the CM’s residence in Lucknow, they discussed investment from Mahindra group in light of the upcoming Global Investors Summit. The UP CM said that Mahindra in aerospace, agribusiness, automotive components, construction equipment, defense, energy, agricultural equipment, finance and insurance, industrial equipment, information technology, hospitality, logistics, real estate, retail and education sectors will benefit the state. Uttar Pradesh will be greatly benefited by the group’s long experience, technology, research and innovations, the chief minister said.
Interest of investor is protected in UP: CM Yogi
Talking about the 25 sectoral policies of the state, the Chief Minister said that keeping in mind the needs and expectations of the industry, we have prepared our policies. The state has huge land bank and open power access. Here the interest of the investors is protected. All these facilities will be made available to the Mahindra Group by the government.
UP has better law and order for Mahindra Group to invest: Anand Mahindra
Describing the industrial development policies of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath as encouraging for the industry, industrialist Anand Mahindra said that Uttar Pradesh’s better law and order, practical sectoral policies, simple system and large population create investment-friendly opportunities for the Mahindra Group. The group is excited to be instrumental in the development of Uttar Pradesh, the country’s largest state. Investment proposals from the group were discussed in a special meeting held with the Chief Minister in Mumbai (Maharashtra) on January 05 last.
Chairman of Mahindra Group said that encouraging the immense possibilities of tourism in Uttar Pradesh, Club Mahindra will be expanded at tourist places. This will help tourists and create new means of employment. Anand Mahindra said that increasing the efforts of technology integration in the agriculture sector, the Mahindra group is also keen to set up a unit in Uttar Pradesh to manufacture farm machines.
