Know about potato cultivation.
Scientists of the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) have issued advisory for farmers regarding the cultivation of potatoes, green peas, tomatoes and other vegetables. He told that the present weather is favorable for sowing of potatoes, so farmers can sow varieties of potatoes as per the requirement. Its improved varieties are- Kufri Badshah, Kufri Jyoti (short duration variety), Kufri Alankar and Kufri Chandramukhi.
Agricultural scientists have said that keeping the temperature in mind, do not delay the sowing of peas any more, otherwise there will be a decrease in the yield of the crop and the outbreak of insects may increase. Be sure to take care of proper moisture in the soil before sowing. The improved varieties of peas are Pusa Pragati and Arquil. Treat the seeds with fungicide Captan or Thyram @ 2.0 g per kg of seed. After that make sure to vaccinate the crop specific Rhizobium. Boil the jaggery in water and cool it and after treating Rhizobium with seeds, keep it in a shady place to dry and sow it the next day.
Appropriate time for sowing garlic and gram
Keeping the temperature in mind, farmers can sow garlic at this time. Be sure to take care of proper moisture in the soil before sowing. The improved varieties are G-1, G-41, G-50 and G-282. Make sure to apply indigenous manure and phosphorus fertilizers in the field.

Before sowing, treat the seed at the rate of captan @ 2 grams per kg of seed and apply indigenous manure, potash and phosphorus fertilizers in the field.
Can also sow greens and radishes
In this season, the farmer will have Sarson Saag- Pusa Saag-1, Radish- Japanese White, Hill Queen, Pusa Mridula (French Radish), Spinach- All Green, Pusa Bharti, Turnip- Pusa Sweti or local red variety, Bathua- Pusa Bathua-1. Sow Methi-Pusa Kasuri, Gum Gobi-White Vienna, Purple Vienna and Coriander-Pant Haritma or hybrid varieties on the ridges (shallow beds).
Take care of proper humidity
This time is suitable for preparing nursery of broccoli, late cauliflower, cabbage and tomato. Build nursery only on raised beds from the ground. The farmer brothers whose nursery is ready, keeping in mind the season, should plant the saplings on the high bunds.
In chilli and tomato fields, uproot the plants affected by virus disease and bury them in the ground. If infestation is high, then spray Imidacloprid @ 0.3 ml per liter. Transplant the prepared seedlings of lilies on the bunds. Farmers can also sow gladiolus at this time.
