TMC and CPM condemned BJP General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya for his statement regarding giving priority to firefighters in the recruitment of security forces in BJP’s office, saying that his statement is an insult to the bravery of the soldiers of the country.

Trinamool (TMC) said that the youth of the country are not meant to be the chowkidars of BJP offices. Party won Vijayvargiya (Kailash Vijayvargiya) asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give an explanation on this statement. Please tell that Vijayvargiya had given a controversial statement on this. He had said that if I also had to keep security (guard) in the BJP office, then I would give priority to Agniveer, although later he had given an explanation for his statement.
Let us tell you that there have been incidents of demonstration and violence from different parts of the country regarding the new Agneepath scheme of the recruitment in the army. Under this new scheme, soldiers in the Army, Navy and Air Force will be recruited on a contract basis for four years and they will be named Agniveer.

Trinamool tweeted, Yuva Shakti wants to serve this country. It is not like the Modi government. The prime minister should clarify whether these are also statements of marginalized elements. On the objectionable remarks made by two former BJP functionaries Nupur Sharma and Naveen Kumar Jindal about Prophet Mohammad, the embassies of India in Kuwait and Qatar had issued statements saying that these comments are of marginalized elements. Trinamool spokesperson Kunal Ghosh said that these statements have exposed the real mindset of the BJP.
CPI(M) told insult to brave soldiers
Similarly, CPI(M) Central Committee member Sujan Chakraborty said Vijayvargiya has insulted the country’s ambitious young military personnel and the valor of the armed forces protecting the country. We want immediate clarification from BJP on Vijayvargiya’s statement. Let us inform that protests are going on in the whole country regarding the Agniveer scheme. Bharat Bandh has been called today. Tight security arrangements have been made in various areas of the state including Kolkata regarding this.
