Agneepath scheme: 250 people arrested in Bihar due to violent protests
Violent protests continued in Bihar for the fourth consecutive day against the new Agneepath scheme for recruitment in the armed forces. A day-long Bihar bandh was also announced by several organizations in the state against the plan on Saturday during which protesters torched a railway station and a police vehicle and several personnel were injured in stone pelting incidents. . According to the information received from the police headquarters, a total of 25 FIRs have been registered in the entire state against the destruction and vandalism of railways, government property during the Bihar bandh and 250 chaotic elements have been arrested.
