President Ram Nath Kovind mourns the death of former Governor Jagmohan
President Ram Nath Kovind on Tuesday mourned the death of former Union Minister Jagmohan and said that the death of Jagmohan, former Union Minister and Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, has created a void that will always be felt. In the tweet from, “The country lost an amazing urban planner, competent administrator and scholar with the death of Jagmohanji.”
His administrative and political career was full of matchless talent. “The President said that a void has been created by his (Jagmohan’s) demise, which will always be felt.” My condolences to his family and friends. “

On Tuesday, mourning the death of former Union Minister Jagmohan and said that the country has lost a skilled administrator today. 93-year-old Jagmohan, a terminally ill, died on Monday. The Vice President said in a tweet, “His incomparable contribution as Governor of Jammu and Kashmir will always be remembered. The country lost a skilled administrator with his death. ”Jagmohan started his career as a bureaucrat and was seen as a strict and efficient administrator. He also served as the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi.
Deeply saddened to learn about the demise of Shri Jagmohan. His exceptional contribution to the nation as Governor of Jammu & Kashmir will always be remembered. The country has lost an excellent administrator in his death.

Also took charge of the post of tourism minister
In 1984, he was appointed as the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir. Former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Jagmohan Malhotra died on Monday night. He was 94. He breathed his last in Delhi. Jagmohan, who was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, had also been a Union Minister besides being the Governor. Jagmohan was also elected in the Lok Sabha. He also held the post of Minister of Urban Development and Tourism.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over his death and said that he always worked for the betterment of India. He tweeted, “Jagmohan ji’s death is a huge loss for the country. He was an ideal administrator and noted scholar. He always worked for the betterment of India. His tenure as a minister is seen as progressive policymaking. My condolences to his family and his loved ones. High peace. “
