Once again, a very scary picture of Corona in Maharashtra has come out. Once again there are 7 districts of Maharashtra in the top 10 most corona affected districts of the country. Last week, 8 of these 10 districts were from Maharashtra. In the first week, out of these 10 districts, 9 districts were from Maharashtra. There are 28 states and 8 union territories in India. The number of seven districts in Maharashtra alone has come up in the ten most affected districts of Corona. Even among them, 5 districts are continuously from Maharashtra. At number six is Bengaluru’s number Karnataka and at number nine is Delhi. In these ten, the last is the fort district of Chhattisgarh at number ten.
The most active positive cases in Maharashtra are in Pune. There are a total of 81 thousand 378 corona positive cases in Pune at present. After this, there are 73 thousand 281 positive cases in Mumbai. The third district adjoining Mumbai is also Thane. Nagpur was at number three last week, which has slipped to number four this time. There are 57 thousand 635 active corona positive cases in Thane, while there are 55 thousand 926 corona positive cases in Nagpur. Nashik district of the state is not far behind from other districts. There are 34 thousand 540 active corona positive cases in Nashik.
Things are bad in Nashik
The severity of Corona’s situation in Nashik can be gauged from the fact that Bengaluru is a much larger city than Nashik but the number of active positive cases is less than Nashik i.e. 30 thousand 782. And guess the size of Delhi, then the active positive cases in Delhi are not even half of Nashik. There are 14 thousand 579 active corona positive cases in Delhi. It is a matter of relief for Maharashtra that Maharashtra is also working fast in the case of vaccination. The Central Government has also praised it on Tuesday. Currently, more than 4 lakh vaccines are being given in Maharashtra in a day. The campaign for vaccination will start on Sunday as well. Apart from this, weekend lockdown is applicable across the state. In the remaining days, the night curfew and day 144 are applicable.
