He was climbing the stairs of Kathipul, when a young man wearing an orange colored scarf came from the front and attacked him with a sword. The first blow of the young man hit the king’s hand while the second hit on the head of the innocent Mahir sleeping with his head on the shoulder.
The attacker escaped by boarding the train
During this, when his wife started screaming, the young man jumped from the ladder of the bridge and went towards the station and escaped on a train opening from there. Local people told about the incident that before the opening of the train, the youth kept walking there with a blood-stained sword for about five minutes. But no one caught him. The GRP jawan did not even notice the young man. At the same time, about the incident, the police said that the matter is being investigated. Preliminary investigation has revealed an old tradition.
