Entrance Exam: The maximum number of 3094 students appeared for the B.Sc Agriculture six-year course, the Vice Chancellor visited the examination centers.

The entrance examination conducted for admission to various courses in Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (HAU-Haryana Agricultural University) Hisar was completed peacefully on Sunday. For this, the university administration had made elaborate arrangements at all the examination centers. University Vice Chancellor Professor BR Kamboj, Registrar Dr. SK Mehta and OSD Dr. Atul Dhingra and other officials visited the examination centers.
The Vice Chancellor also inspected the arrangements made for the convenience of the candidates and for the smooth conduct of the examination. In order to conduct these examinations in a peaceful manner and to ensure compliance of all instructions, the duties of teachers and non-teaching staff were imposed by the university. 5282 students took the exam on Sunday.
Follow the instructions of corona pandemic
University Vice Chancellor Kamboj said that the examination for admission to various programs was conducted following the instructions issued by the Central and State Governments due to the Corona epidemic. All the exam centers were sanitized before the exam. So that no student should face any problem.
For which courses the entrance exam was held
Controller of Examination Dr. SK Pahuja said that the entrance examination was conducted for B.Sc Agriculture six-year course, MSc Fisheries Science, MSc Maths, MSc Medical, MSc Non Medic, MSc Sociology, MTech, PhD and BSc Community Science. .
3094 for BSc Agriculture six year course, 40 in MSc Fisheries Science, 516 in MSc Medical, 127 in MSc Non-Medical, 25 in MSc Sociology, 46 in MSc Maths, 9 in MTech, BSc in Community Science In 178 and PhD, 1247 candidates took the exam.
Pahuja has appealed to the candidates and their parents to keep checking the university website (admissions.hau.ac.in and hau.ac.in) for new information regarding admission in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Admission will be done on the basis of merit
Admission in all these subjects will be on the basis of merit in CAT, CMAT and Graduation score. The answer key of B.Sc. Fisheries Science will be released on September 21, on the basis of which candidates can submit objections till September 22. For this, the first counseling will be held from September 29 to October 4 and seats will be allotted by October 6.
