Corona Cases are increasing rapidly in the country. On the other hand, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday approved the recruitment of additional contractual staff in 51 medical facilities being run under the Ex-Servicemen Contributed Health Scheme (ECHS) across the country. These employees will help in dealing with the Corona crisis.
According to the Ministry of Defense, medical officers, nursing assistants, pharmacists, drivers and watchmen will be hired for 3 months for night duty for ECHS Polyclinics. This contract will be till 15 August 2021.
The Defense Ministry has given this approval at a time when 3.23 lakh new cases have been registered in the last 24 hours and on Tuesday, the country also recorded the number of 2771 deaths. According to the new report, the total number of corona infections in the country has increased to 1,76,36,307. Maharashtra and Delhi are among the most corona affected states in the country.
