26/11 Mumbai Terror Attack 13 Years: Today is the 13th anniversary of the 2008 terrorist attack in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is considered the most horrific terrorist attack in the history of India. The whole country is remembering the martyrs and the victims of the attack. President Ram Nath Kovind tweeted, ‘My heartfelt tributes to the martyrs and victims of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. The nation will always be grateful for the bravery and sacrifice of the security forces who laid down their lives in the line of duty.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has said, ‘On the 13th anniversary of the terrorist attack on Mumbai on November 26, we are remembering the innocent people whom we have lost. My tribute to all those who lost their lives in those attacks. Our security forces have shown exemplary courage during the 26/11 attacks. I salute their bravery and sacrifice. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, sharing the picture of the time of the attack, wrote in the caption of his tweet, ‘Never forget’.
Home Minister pays tribute
Home Minister Amit Shah wrote in his tweet, ‘Heartfelt tribute to those who lost their lives in the Mumbai 26/11 terror attacks and salute the courage of all the security personnel who bravely faced the terrorists in the cowardly attacks. The whole country will be proud of your bravery (Mumbai Attack). A grateful nation will always be indebted to your sacrifice. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has saluted the heroes. In his tweet, he writes, ‘In difficult weather on the border, he protects the country by staying away from the family. Saves the innocent by risking his life in terrorist attack. He cares about the world, not the life. It is the pride of the family, of the village, of the country – such is the youth of my country. Salute to the heroes of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. Jai Hind!’
Terrorists came to mumbai from pakistan
On 26 November 2008 in Mumbai, 10 terrorists from Pakistan had reached Mumbai (Pakistan Terrorists). These people had reached here by sea. They fired indiscriminately at many places. In which 166 people died. These included people from about 15 countries. While more than 300 people were injured. Terrorists carried out attacks at many places including Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Nariman House, Metro Cinema and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus in Mumbai.
