UP’s Yogi government’s grip on gangster-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari and his henchmen is constantly being tightened. The UP government has demolished the economic empire (mukhtar ansari assets) of Ansari and his henchmen, amidst preparations to bring Mukhtar Ansari from Punjab jail to UP.
According to the media report, the UP police has attached the illegal property acquired so far under Mukhtar Ansari under the Gangster Act and its illegal construction has also been demolished. The estimated value of the properties seized, freed and destroyed by the possession of Mukhtar Gang and his associates is about Rs 192.06 crore. Action will be taken by marking the benami properties of Police and Administration Mukhtar Ansari.
96 accused of Mukhtar gang arrested, 75 taken action under Gangster Act
According to the report, the police administration has arrested 96 accused of Mukhtar gang so far. Out of these, 75 accused have been taken action under the Gangster Act. The cancellation-suspension of 72 personal weapons of the gang has been done. Action has also been taken against the seven cooperative contractors of the gang.
How Mukhtar Ansari built a criminal empire
Speaking to reporters on Monday, UP’s ADG law system Prashant Kumar said that Mukhtar Ansari has carried out many heinous criminal incidents in Purvanchal in the past and also killed police personnel. Ansari also connected with the Shahabuddin gang of Bihar by forming a gang of notorious criminals and shooters in the state and established a large criminal empire with a strong criminal network. He said that due to crime and terror, Mukhtar Ansari raised crores of rupees every month by establishing his suzerainty over Purvanchal’s cuckoo market and contracts. Apart from this, he has been collecting the goonda tax by threatening the traders.
Mukhtar Ansari is a Mazariya history sheeter of Muhammadabad police station in Ghazipur district and has 52 cases filed against him in various districts of Uttar Pradesh, of which 15 cases are under consideration.
UP police team reached Ropar to pick Mukhtar Ansari
UP police teams have reached Ropar in Punjab to take up the Bahubali leader and mafia Mukhtar Ansari case. According to the information received, Mukhtar’s custody has not been handed over at present and the UP Police team has been asked to stay at Lis Line Ropar. It is being told that Mukhtar will be handed over to the UP police after following the legal process after opening the jail. On the other hand, the Punjab Police has made it clear that a squad of trend commandos will also accompany the UP Police team to take Mukhtar to Banda Jail.
An ambulance carrying Ansari to Mohali was found in unclaimed condition
Earlier on Sunday night, there was a big revelation in Mukhtar Ansari’s ambulance game. Ansari’s ambulance was found abandoned at a deserted place. Ansari used this ambulance to appear in Mohali court from Ropar jail in Punjab. This ambulance is registered in Barabanki, UP. After the matter came to light, an SIT has been formed to investigate.
