Later, the security forces found the bodies of a total of six hostages from there.

More than 160 people lost their lives when nine attackers had been eliminated by the morning of 29 November and one attacker was in police custody in the form of Ajmal Kasab. The situation was completely under control but more than 160 people had lost their lives. For three days, the security forces were battling the terrorists.
