You can serve it as a delicious dessert. You can serve this ice cream with brownies and gulab jamuns. To make this, you will need milk, vanilla essence, cornflour and sugar etc. You can also make this ice cream on any special occasion. Let’s learn how to make vanilla ice cream at home.
Ingredients for Vanilla Ice Cream
Step – 1 Boil the milk and keep stirring
To make vanilla ice cream at home, take a small bowl. Make a smooth paste by adding 1 teaspoon cornflour in 4 teaspoons milk. Use cold milk for this and try not to get lumps in it. Mix well and keep the mixture aside. Meanwhile, take a vessel and boil the milk. Keep stirring the milk continuously so that the milk does not stick to the bottom.
Step – 2 Add sugar to the mixture
Halve the milk so that your ice cream becomes creamy. Add corn flour and milk mixture to it. Now add sugar to it and let the milk reduce. When the milk becomes thick, reduce the flame.
Step – 3 Add fresh cream and vanilla essence
Next, add fresh cream and vanilla essence and mix well. After mixing, turn off the gas and put the mixture in an aluminum container. Cover the container with aluminum foil and freeze for 6 to 7 hours or until semi-set.
Step – 4 Freeze and Serve Your Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream!
Remove from freezer and put the mixture in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour this mixture back into the same aluminum container. Cover with aluminum foil and refrigerate for 10 hours or until set. Your Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream is ready. Serve this ice cream and enjoy with friends and family.
