Delicious Sabudana Kheer
As soon as the month of Sawan starts, our food and drink options often become very less. In such a situation, you can make some dishes which are perfect for this month. If you want to make dessert then you can try Sabudana Kheer. It is quite easy to make. It is very tasty and healthy too. You can make this kheer easily present in the kitchen. For this you will only need sago, water, milk and sugar etc. Let’s know this recipe.
Sabudana Kheer Ingredients
- cup sago
- water 1 cup
- milk 3 cups
- sugar cup
- Cashew 7-8
- Raisins – 2 tsp
- tsp cardamom powder (cardamom)
For this easy recipe, first soak your sabudana in water. Let it soak for half an hour. Do not soak it too much otherwise it will get mashed while cooking.

Take a pan and pour milk in it. Let the milk heat up a bit.

Add soaked sabudana to the milk.

Let it boil on medium heat. Keep stirring it and do not let the milk stick to the pan.

Boil till the milk reduces a little and your sabudana becomes light.

Now, add sugar and mix. You can add sugar and taste the milk after the sugar dissolves and see if it is correct or not.

Stir the kheer so that sugar crystals do not remain to dissolve. Stir it gently or you can mash the sabudana.

Keep the flame low and stir for 15 minutes.
Step – 9
Add dry fruits to it and stir for 5 minutes and your delicious Sabudana Kheer is ready to be served.

Remove in a bowl, garnish with chopped nuts and serve hot.
