Date Coconut Laddu
Date Coconut Laddu is an easy and delicious Indian dessert, which is traditionally made during festivals like Diwali or Holi. This is a quick Indian laddu recipe and very healthy. This is a sugar-free laddu recipe.
This year on Diwali, you can try this unique recipe of Date Coconut Laddu. Laddus made from sugar and jaggery increases obesity. But these laddus are made without using sweeteners. Which is not only beneficial for the patient of sugar, but it also does not increase obesity.
Ingredients for making these laddoos
Dates (without seeds and chopped) – 1 cup
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Dry Coconut Coconut – cup
Cashew nuts and raisins – cup
Poppy seeds – cup
Khoya (grated) – cup
How to make Date Coconut Ladoo
step 1
Start making the dates by cutting them and removing the seeds. Now take it out in a mixer grinder jar. Add some water and blend it into a smooth puree.

Now dry roast the poppy seeds in a pan, till it is toasted and keep aside.
Step – 3
In the same pan, add some ghee and fry the chopped cashews. When they are roasted, take them out in a plate and keep them aside.
Step – 4
In the same pan add more ghee. Add date puree and fry till fragrant. Add shredded coconut and khoya. Mix well. Once it starts leaving the pan, switch off the flame.
Step-5
Now add dry fruits and mix well. Let the mixture cool down and once it cools down, make small laddus and garnish with toasted poppy seeds and enjoy.
