Crispy Kachori is one of the most popular street food in North India. This is a delicious snack. It is often served with chutney/curd or potato curry. You can easily prepare this dish. You can serve it for breakfast or lunch. This is a delicious option for those who love deep-fried food. You can enjoy this delicious Kachori recipe as an appetizer or side dish. This kachori is stuffed with moong dal. It can be served on many special occasions. Pair this delicious snack recipe with tea. Crispy Kachori Ingredients
- Maida – 1 cup
- Moong dal – 1/2 cup
- Asafoetida powder – 1 pinch
- Chopped green chili – 1/4 tsp
- Garam Masala Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Dry mango powder – 2 tsp
- Refined oil – 1 cup
- Whipped curd – 3 tbsp
- Melted Ghee – 2 tsp
- Cumin – 1/2 tsp
- Grated ginger – 1/4 tsp
- Coriander Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
- Besan – 1 tsp
- salt as required
- Sev 2 tsp
- boondi 2 tsp
To make Kachori recipe, mix all purpose flour, gram flour and ghee in a bowl. Add some salt and some water. Knead a hard dough from these ingredients. Make small balls of the dough and keep aside. Heat some oil in a pan on medium heat. Add cumin and asafoetida powder. Fry for 30 seconds, add moong dal and fry for a minute.

Now add green chili paste, ginger paste, garam masala powder, gram flour, red chili powder, mango powder, coriander powder and salt. Mix well and cook for 5 to 6 minutes.

Roll out the dough and put 1 or 2 spoons of filling in the center. Fold well and roll again so that the filling does not come out.
Step – 4
Heat oil in a deep frying pan on medium heat. Fry the prepared kachoris till they turn golden brown from both the sides and keep them puffed. Take out more oil. To serve, make a hole in the center of the kachoris. Add 2 to 3 spoons of whipped curd.
Step – 5
Add green chutney, curd, sweet tamarind chutney, red chili powder, onion, cumin powder, green coriander and salt on top. Serve garnished with boondi or sev.
