So here we have brought you a super easy recipe to make the best Goa shrimp at home in just 5 steps. So let’s know about its recipe-
To marinate prawns, wash 500 grams of prawns thoroughly and mix them with salt, half a teaspoon turmeric powder and 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Marinate them for 15-30 minutes.
In a pan, fry 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, half a teaspoon coriander seeds and half a teaspoon pepper. Mix 6 cloves of garlic, 4 dry red chilies, half a teaspoon tamarind paste, 1 cup fresh grated coconut and 1 cup of water with dried roasted seeds. Blend to make a smooth paste.
Heat some oil in a pan and add finely chopped onions of medium size. Cook 2-3 minutes till the onion turns brown and after that add ginger garlic paste and 1 teaspoon of sauce to it. Now add 1 medium sized chopped tomato and cook it till it becomes muddy.
For this, add 1 tbsp turmeric powder and a pinch of salt. Now mix the prepared coconut paste and 1 cup coconut milk in it. Boil the gravy and then add 2 chopped green chilies.
Add marinated prawns to the pan and cook on low heat for 4-5 minutes. Garnish with some coarsely chopped coriander and serve with rice.
