By adding vegetables to it, it becomes more beneficial. But many people complain that upma is not able to be fed from them. If this problem also comes with you, then know here that secret formula that will make Upma completely edible.

One cup semolina, one onion chopped, two green chilies finely chopped, two spoons peeled urad dal, one spoon fried peanuts, half a spoon grated ginger, half a cup peeled and chopped carrots, halved Cup peas, half teaspoon mustard, 5 to 6 curry leaves, half cup capsicum chopped, half lemon, salt as per taste, half teaspoon finely chopped coriander leaves, oil as per requirement.

Put the semolina in a pan and fry it lightly and take it out. Boil green peas in water. After that put oil in the pan and heat it. After this add mustard seeds and curry leaves. Also add urad dal. After cracking add onion and ginger.

Let the onion turn golden. After this add green chilli, boiled peas, carrot, capsicum and salt as per taste and cover the pan and cook the vegetables. When the vegetables are cooked, add roasted semolina to it and mix everything.

After this, as a secret formula, you have to heat the water you put in the upma. Pour hot water into the semolina and let it rise. Cook for one to two minutes. Remember do not make the mistake of pouring cold water. Due to this mistake, semolina sticks.

When the upma is cooked, squeeze half a lemon into it and garnish with coriander and serve hot to everyone.

suggestion : Some people also use tomato in upma. It is on your wish, if you want you can also add tomatoes. You can also skip lemon as well.
