Summer can sometimes be the worst time for our skin. In such a situation, tanning is one of the most common problems that one has to face during summers. There is often a complaint of tanning on the tanned hands, feet, back. Sometimes tanning is accompanied by itching and burning in the feet. You can adopt some easy home remedies to remove tanning legs. Let’s know home remedies to remove tan from feet.
Use baking soda and curd to lighten tanning – Take a spoonful of baking soda in a bowl and add fresh curd and juice of one lemon to it. Mix the ingredients together to make a homemade scrub. Apply it on the feet and start massaging with light hands to exfoliate. Keep exfoliating for 4-5 minutes. Leave it on the skin for 8-10 minutes. Use fresh, cold water for washing. Repeat this two or three times a week.
Use turmeric and gram flour to remove tan Take two spoons of gram flour in a bowl. Add half a teaspoon of turmeric powder and required quantity of rose water to it. Mix all the ingredients to make a smooth paste. Apply it all over the tanned legs. Leave it on till it dries. After this wet the fingers and start massaging the feet in light circular motions. It will exfoliate and remove pigmented skin cells to lighten sun tan. Wash off with plain, cool water and use it twice or thrice a week to remove tan from feet.
Remove tan with papaya and honey Take a half ripe papaya. Cut it into small pieces. Put a cup of ripe papaya cubes in a blender and prepare papaya pulp. Take papaya pulp in a bowl and add a tablespoon of raw honey to it. Mix it together and apply gently on both the feet. Massage in circular motion for 10 minutes and then leave it on for 15-20 minutes. After that wash off with fresh, cold water. You can repeat this once every 2-3 days.
Use raw milk and rice flour to remove tan Take two spoons of rice flour in a bowl. Add sufficient quantity of raw milk to it and mix together to prepare a paste. Apply it on both the feet and massage with light hands in circular motion. This will help to exfoliate the skin and gradually remove the sun tan. Keep exfoliating for at least 8-10 minutes and then leave it on the skin for 15-20 minutes. Use fresh, cold water and wash. Repeat this two or three times a week.
