Corn Chaat Recipe
Corn chaat is very much liked in North India during monsoon. This is a turmeric and delicious recipe. This snack recipe can be easily made at home. It is prepared by mixing corn, lemon juice, green chili, cilantro, tomato, yellow capsicum, capsicum, onion, ginger juice and spices. You can serve it as a snack to your friends and family during kitty parties and picnics. You can serve this chaat with mocktail or tea. You can add spicy as per your taste. Ingredients for Chaat
- Frozen corn (boiled corn) 900 grams
- Green chili – 2 tsp green
- Chili powder – 1/2 tsp
- Roasted cumin powder – 2 tsp
- salt as required
- Yellow capsicum – 2
- Ginger juice – 2 tsp
- Lemon juice – 2 tsp
- Coriander – 2 tsp
- Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
- Black salt – 1 tsp
- Tomato – 1 cup
- Capsicum (green chili) – 1 cup
- Onion – 1
Step 1 Chop the vegetables
To prepare this delicious recipe, firstly chop tomatoes, onions, capsicum and yellow capsicum and prepare them. Once done, keep all the vegetables aside.
Step – 2 Mix the spices
Mix salt, black salt, roasted cumin powder, black pepper and red chili powder together in a bowl and keep aside.
Step – 3 Fry the Corn
Take a non stick pan, keep it on medium flame and add oil. Put the frozen corn kernels in the pan and fry them for about 6-7 minutes. After this the corn grains will become golden brown in color. After that turn off the gas.
Step-4 Preparation of Chaat
After this add chopped vegetables and sprinkle spice mix and coriander in the corns. Mix these ingredients well. Then add lemon juice and ginger juice to this mixture and mix well. Your chaat is ready to be served.
