A world famous fair is organized in Sonpur of Bihar. This fair, which started from 20 November, is to continue till 5 December. Every day there are programs of singers, actors, stage performers, standup comedians and other artists from different regions across the country. There was a program of a Kavi Sammelan on 25th November. poetess famous for Anamika Jain Amber was also invited. She also reached Patna on the morning of 25 November, but she was refused permission to go to Sonpur.
Jain was told that she could not attend the poetry reading. After this, other poets who were invited in the program also boycotted the Kavi Sammelan. The Bihar government is being accused of ‘cultural policing’ by calling in this national fair and then stopping it from the programme.
Reacting strongly to this, the BJP has accused the Nitish government of stifling freedom of expression. However, the Saran administration and the Bihar government argue that Amber had nothing to do with the event. Art-Culture and Tourism Minister Jitendra Rai says that she (Anamika Jain Amber) was not called. However, the posters of the program refute this argument. Let us try to understand the whole matter in detail.
Who is Anamika Jain Amber?
It is a matter before the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. Bihar’s budding folk singer and poet Neha Singh Rathore, who criticized the Yogi government since the time of Corona, became very viral. With regard to his song- ‘UP Mein Ka Ba’. In this song, he taunted and criticized the BJP government in a sarcastic manner. This song became very viral on social media.
In response to the song ‘UP Me Ka Ba’, another song came out – ‘UP Me Baba’. It was written and sung by poetess Anamika Jain Ambar.
In his poem, Amber praised UP CM Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The policies of the BJP government in UP were described as the best. After the ‘UP Mein Ka Ba-UP Mein Baba’ episode, Anamika Jain’s image became that of a ‘BJP supporter’ among the opponents. Opponents started calling him ‘court poet’. Though Ambar calls herself a nationalist poet. He has also been getting a lot of support from the people.
Anamika is originally from Meerut, UP. She has been reciting poetry for many years. He has been invited to poet conferences organized in different cities across the country. She is also seen in programs on news channels on special occasions. She also has a YouTube channel and Facebook page named Anamika Amber, where her poems can be seen. She mostly writes and recites poems related to love, politics, humor and nationalism.
Here is his famous poem
Why….. In UP, when Baba Sabaran expressed many dreams of his mind, we thought that we too should be imprisoned in Bundelkhandi.#UPmebaba pic.twitter.com/4ahJddTEUJ

First invited, then banned!
On this episode, Anamika Jain Amber says that the Bihar government had contacted her six months ago. But when she reached Patna on the morning of 25 November, she was asked to stay there. He realized that he was not allowed to travel to Sonpur, while the rest of the poets left for Sonpur. He said that this happened to him for the first time. Does the Bihar government have any fear from his poems. Jain claimed that the Saran administration also apologized to him and said that there was a lot of pressure on him ‘from above’ to stop Amber from attending the event.
What is the game behind this game?
Ever since Baba Geet in UP, the image of Anamika Jain Ambar has become that of a pro-BJP poet among political opponents. She has been seen and heard praising UP CM Yogi Adityanath, PM Narendra Modi and the BJP government from the open platform. In such a situation, there is every possibility that for this reason he was stopped from doing the programme.
The Indian Express has written the same without naming a state government official. According to the official, given Amber’s background as a nationalist and pro-BJP poet, the government was apprehensive about his poems. Since this program was decided six months ago and at that time there was NDA government in Bihar.
The director of a company doing social campaigning for political parties and leaders in Bihar NewsNCR Digital Said in a conversation with that when the invitation went, BJP was also involved in the government in the state, so the invitation was also sent to Amber Jain. Now the political scenario has changed. BJP is now in opposition and hence the program of ‘BJP supporter’ poetess was stopped. The organizing ministry must have been warned about this and then the administration must have been ordered to stop Amber Jain.
