Right Age for Pregnancy: Dr. Gunjan Gupta says that if you are delaying too much in family planning in the desire to make a career, then it is wrong. You be alert.
Right Age of PregnancyIn India, the minimum age of marriage for men was 21 years, while for women it was 18 years. Now a bill has been passed for the minimum age of marriage for women as well as 21 years. There has been a lot of discussion on the question of what is the right age for marriage, but there is relatively little discussion about what is the right age for women to become mothers. Generally, in one to two years of marriage, the couple family planning (Family Planning) do it. But working women (Working Woman) has a slight problem with it. Both the husband or wife have a role in this decision.
Many times women delay in family planning due to the desire to make a career or for other professional reasons. But doctors say that if women delay for a long time, then it can increase the problem. So the question is, what is the right age to become a mother? For this, we talked to three women doctors.
What is the right age to become a mother?
Doctors say that the right age to become a mother is between 21 and 30 years. Dr. Gunjan Gupta, the founder of ‘Gunjan IVF World’, says that if you are delaying too much in family planning in the desire to make a career, then it is wrong. You be alert. Because after the age of 30, women may face problems in becoming a mother.
She says that if women choose 35 years or more to become mothers, then in such a situation, the chances of having abnormal genetic properties in the child increase. Wherein immature means becoming a mother at a young age can be more dangerous.
dangers of premature delivery
Dr. Gunjan says that becoming a mother under the age of 20 can cause problems. Having children under the age of 20 can slow down the growth of the child. In such a situation, the baby may be born prematurely. This is called pre-mature delivery. In such a situation, there is also a high risk of postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) during delivery, which can be fatal at times. Dr. Gunjan says that the best age to become a mother is between 21 to 30 years.
Role of Anti Mullerian Hormone
Fertility expert Dr Meenakshi Arya told that there is a hormone called AMH (Anti Mullerian Hormone) in the body of women. It shows the ability of that woman to make eggs. With ageing, the amount of AMH hormone in the body decreases and after the age of 30, this hormone starts decreasing rapidly.
If the amount of this hormone has decreased, then it means that the production of eggs in the body has decreased. When a girl is born, there are millions of eggs in her body. By the age of 30, it remains only to a few lakhs, while by the age of 40, these eggs are very less or almost finished.
High blood pressure or risk of diabetes
Another expert Dr Garima Sharma says that if the delivery takes place at the age of more than 30 years, then the chances of having abnormal genetic properties in the child increase. With age comes the risk of other diseases as well. After 30, the risks of diseases like high blood pressure and diabetes (diabetes) start increasing. Due to this there may be problems in getting pregnant.
Under these circumstances, if a woman is pregnant, then the risk of miscarriage increases greatly due to increased high blood pressure or diabetes. In such a situation, there is also a possibility of pre-term birth. Therefore, women should keep the age between 21 to 30 years for family planning.
