TCs do the same work as TTEs.

But has the right to verify the ticket. They do not have the right to verify the ticket inside the train itself.
Means TC platform verifies ticket at entry/exit gate and TTE checks ticket during journey in trains. Also, if a passenger requires a seat and one is vacant, a TTE can allot the seat to them on the appropriate rota. However, all ticket related transactions should take place within the train itself.
