Senior citizens are getting a special facility from October 1. this feature annual life certificate is about. Every retiree has to submit Annual Life Certificate once in a year i.e. in November. On the basis of this certificate, pension is given for the next one year. But there are many mistakes in this work. The retired person who cannot walk also has to go to the bank or pension agency and make an appearance. For this work, a friend goes along with him. Often family members go home, but they also have to stop themselves and go with the elderly. But the government has made this task easy. Now our elders will not need to attend the bank as this work is now being done online. A special feature of this has been started from October 1.
Under the new facility, pensioners will now be able to submit annual life certificate or life certificate online. Earlier, for this work, one had to go to the post office in the bank. Now the work of online pension will be done from home without going anywhere. The Pensioners Department has issued a memorandum about who will get the benefit of the new facility and how. In the memorandum issued by the Pensioners Department on 30 September, it has been said that pensioners up to the age of 80 years or more will be able to submit the Annual Life Certificate online from October 1. Earlier this work was done after 1 November.
Pensioners can take the facility of doorstep banking for submission of Annual Life Certificate in which 12 government banks are providing this service. In this, the bank employee will come home and submit the life certificate. Similarly, the postal department is also providing doorstep banking facility with the help of which digital life certificate can be submitted. You can submit the Life Certificate manually or digitally in the six ways mentioned below.
1-Pension Authority
The physical life certificate can be submitted by visiting the authority from which the pension is issued.
2-Attestate Life Certificate
If the pensioner submits his life certificate by signing it from any designated authority, then he will not need to appear himself. It has been told in the CPAO booklet that the signature of which officer will be valid on the certificate.
3-Jeevan Pramaan Portal
Pensioner can also submit Jeevan Pramaan online through Jeevan Pramaan portal. In this process, the details of the pensioner are taken from the biometrics device. Life certificate can be submitted after thumb affixing on such device. Information about the device can be obtained from www.uidai.gov.in.
4-India Post Payment Bank
Life certificate can also be submitted through post office postman. IPPB has created 1,36,000 access points for this which are present in the post office. For the convenience of doorstep, 1,89,000 postmen and dak sevaks are providing their services. Postmen and Dak Sevaks carry smartphones and devices from which the Life Certificate is digitally submitted.
5-doorstep banking
12 government banks in 100 major cities of the country are providing doorstep banking facility for submission of life certificate. In this, the DSB agents visit the pensioner’s house and submit the life certificate. Booking for doorstep banking can be done through mobile app, website and toll free number.
6- Face Authentication
With the help of Aadhaar, pensioners can submit digital life certificates through face authentication technology. With the help of this technology, the pensioner can submit a digital life certificate from any Android smartphone. For this, the help of Jeevan mobile application is taken and life photo is taken on it. In a few processes, DLC ie Digital Life Certificate is generated.
