PNB Kisan Swarna Yojana: Eligibility Criteria
Only those farmers will be eligible for this scheme who have substantial land and who are continuously taking any type of loan benefit and there is no NPA record for the last two years as on the date of application. New farmers having satisfactory dealings with other banks for a minimum period of 2 years will also be eligible. If the mortgaged land is in the name of more than one farmer, then all will be jointly eligible. The above track record of 2 years can be relaxed in case of new farmers having good deposits for last 2 years provided:
The loan is secured by 100% liquid collateral security such as National Security Scheme. Or the loan is secured by 50 per cent liquid collateral security and 50 per cent by the land lender. Necessary approval has to be obtained from the competent authority for planning etc. for housing. Other requirements of the home loan scheme of the bank also have to be filled. The maximum age limit for rural housing is 60 years at the time of submission of application, up to 65 years, if legal heir is standing as guarantor.
