On Diwali and Chhath, the railways is going to run 10 more special trains so that people do not face inconvenience in going home and coming back, which will be able to deal with the increasing demand.

Indian Railways has decided to run 10 more special trains for Bihar keeping in view the increasing ticket booking in all trains running during Chhath. Passengers can book tickets for this by visiting IRCTC website. According to Birendra Kumar, CPRO of East Central Railway, Railways are running Deepawali and Chhath special trains for various stations. Along with special trains, 10 pairs of special trains will be operated.
1. Train No. 08624/08623 Ranchi-Patna-Ranchi Chhath Special – Train No. 08624 Ranchi-Patna Chhath Special Train will leave Ranchi on 29.10.2022 at 23.10 hrs and will leave Patna Jn at 10.30 hrs the next day. Will arrive. In return Train No. 08623 Patna-Ranchi Special train will leave Patna at 11.30 hrs on 30.10.2022 and will reach Ranchi at 20.35 hrs on the same day. This special train will stop at Lohardaga, Tori, Latehar, Barwadih, Daltenganj, Garhwa Road, Sonnagar, Gaya and Jehanabad stations in Up and Down direction.
2. Train No. 08626/08625 Hatia-Darbhanga-Hatia Chhath Special – Train No. 08626 Hatia-Darbhanga Chhath Special Train will depart from Hatia at 23.45 hrs on 27.10.2022 to Darbhanga Jn at 14.30 hrs the next day. Will arrive. In return Train No. 08625 Darbhanga – Hatia Chhath Special train will leave Darbhanga at 16.30 hrs on 28.10.2022 and will reach Hatia at 08.30 hrs, the next day. This special train will stop at Ranchi, Muri, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Barakar, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Barauni and Samastipur stations in Up and Down direction.
3. Train No. 09461/09462 Ahmedabad-Patna-Nanded Special – Train No. 09461 Ahmedabad-Patna Special will leave Patna at 19.25 hrs on 27.10.2022 & 03.11.2022 (Thursday) and will reach Patna at 00.30 hrs on Saturday. In return direction Train No. 09462 Patna – Nanded Special will leave Patna at 06.00 hrs on 29.10.2022 & 05.11.2022 (Saturday) and arrive Nanded at 10.15 hrs on Sunday. This special train will stop at Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn., Prayagraj, Kanpur, Agra Fort, Kota, Ratlam and other stations in up and down direction.
4. Train No. 09321/09322 Indore-Patliputra-Indore Special – Train No. 09321 Indore-Patliputra Special will leave at 13.55 hrs on 28.10.2022 & 04.11.2022 (Friday) to reach Patliputra at 14.55 hrs on Saturday. In return direction, Train No. 09322 Patliputra – Indore Special will leave Patliputra at 18.30 hrs on 29.10.2022 & 05.11.2022 (Saturday) and will reach Indore at 20.05 hrs on Sunday. This special train will stop at Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn., Varanasi, Sultanpur, Lucknow, Kanpur, Bina, Ujjain and other stations in up and down direction.
5. Train No. 09323/09324 Indore-Patliputra-Indore Special – Train No. 09323 Indore-Patliputra Special will leave at 11.15 hrs on 24.10.2022 & 31.10.2022 (Monday) and arrive Patliputra at 13.40 hrs on Tuesday. In return direction, Train No. 09324 Patliputra – Indore Special will leave Patliputra at 17.00 hrs on 25.10.2022 & 01.11.2022 (Tuesday) and will reach Indore at 20.30 hrs on Wednesday. This special train will stop at Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn., Varanasi, Sultanpur, Lucknow, Kanpur, Bina, Ujjain and other stations in up and down direction.
6. Train No. 04185/04186 Gwalior-Barauni-Gwalior Festival Special – Train No. 04185 Gwalior-Barauni Festival Special will leave Gwalior at 18.00 hrs on 26.10.2022 & 30.10.2022 to reach Barauni at 18.30 hrs the next day. In return Train No. 04186 Barauni – Gwalior Festival Special train will leave Barauni at 04.30 hrs on 28.10.2022 and 01.11.2022 to reach Gwalior at 04.15 hrs the next day. This special train will stop at Samastipur, Hajipur, Chhapra, Siwan, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda, Barabanki, Lucknow, Kanpur, Phaphund, Etawah, Bhind, Soni, Gohad Road, Malanpur and Shanichara stations in Up and Down direction.
7. Train No. 05978/05777/05778/05977 Dibrugarh-Gorakhpur-New Jalpaiguri-Gorakhpur- Dibrugarh Chhath Special (via Hajipur-Muzaffarpur-Barauni-Katihar)- Train No. 05978 Dibrugarh-Gorakhpur Chhath Special from Dibrugarh on 27.10.2022 (Gurugarh) ) will leave Samastipur at 19.25 hrs on Friday and will reach Gorakhpur at 07.30 hrs, stopping at Hajipur at 01.35 hrs on Saturday. In return Train No. 05777 GKP – New Jalpaiguri Chhath Special train will leave Gorakhpur at 17.00 hrs on 29.10.2022 (Saturday) leaving Hajipur at 21.10 hrs and will reach New Jalpaiguri at 09.30 hrs on 30.10.2022. Train No. dated 31.10.2022 05778 New Jalpaiguri – Gorakhpur Chhath Special will leave New Jalpaiguri at 14.00 hrs and stop Hajipur at 23.00 hrs and reach Gorakhpur at 04.30 hrs the next day. Train No. on 01.11.2022 05977 Gorakhpur – Dibrugarh Chhath Special will leave Gorakhpur at 07.50 hrs and stop Hajipur at 13.35 hrs and will reach Dibrugarh at 20.50 hrs the next day. This special will stop at Siwan, Chhapra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Barauni, Khagaria, Naugachia, Katihar and other stations in the Up and Down direction.

Train No. 09011/09012 Mumbai Central-Malda Town-Mumbai Central Superfast Special (via Bhagalpur-Munger-Samastipur-Muzaffarpur-Bettiah-Gorakhpur)- Train No. 09011 Mumbai Central-Malda Town Superfast Special from Mumbai Central to 23.10.2022 & It will leave Muzaffarpur at 22.50 hrs on 30.10.2022 (Sunday) and will reach Malda Town at 18.45 hrs on Tuesday. In return Train No. 09012 Malda Town – Mumbai Central Superfast Special train will leave Malda Town at 05.00 hrs on 26.10.2022 & 02.11.2022 (Wednesdays) leaving Muzaffarpur at 14.00 hrs and will arrive Mumbai Central at 05.05 hrs on Friday. This special train will stop at Bhagalpur, Munger, Begusarai, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Bapudham Motihari, Bettiah, Paniyahwa, Gorakhpur and other stations in up and down direction.

Train No. 03435/03436 Malda Town-Anand Vihar-Malda Town Chhath Special (via Patna)- Train No. 03435 Malda Town-Anand Vihar Chhath Special will leave Malda Town at 09.05 hrs on 31.10.2022 & 07.11.2022 (Monday) Stopping at Patna at 17.55 hrs, it will reach Anand Vihar at 13.45 hrs on Tuesday. In return Train No. 03436 Anand Vihar – Malda Town Chhath Special train will leave Anand Vihar at 17.10 hrs on 01.11.2022 & 08.11.2022 (Tuesdays) and will arrive Malda Town at 23.50 hrs, stopping at Patna at 14.30 hrs on Wednesday.
