The problem with the Congress party is that it is in extraordinary haste to replace Modi and put Rahul Gandhi in the prime minister’s chair. During the epidemic, the Congress party came to the fore with its well-known politics ‘shoot and scoot’ (shoot and run).

It is well known that Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) He is a very good speaker. Over the years, he has mastered the art of deflecting criticism against him and putting those questioning him in the dock. a helpless congress party (Congress Party) learned this lesson better on Monday and had to find a place to hide his head. There is no doubt that in the beginning of 2020, when the corona virus in India (Corona) When the infection started spreading, the Congress party saw a political opportunity in it and tried its best to put the entire blame of this global epidemic on Modi and his government.
For the Congress, this was an opportunity to corner the man who had crushed the country’s oldest party in two successive parliamentary elections. The attempt was to prove him to be an incompetent and insensitive leader, to destabilize an elected government and to force early elections so that the eternal prince of the Congress party could become the king of the country.
It is also a fact that except perhaps China, no country was prepared to deal with an epidemic of this scale. Every country and its leader, no matter how rich and developed that country was, was not prepared to deal with this epidemic. India was not in the category of rich and developed countries and its race to join that elite group of nations was badly hurt by the pandemic. India’s relatively poor health infrastructure has been badly exposed, but can Modi alone be blamed for it?
The problem with Congress is that it is in a hurry to oust Modi.
Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi hit out at Modi during his speech in the Lok Sabha, blaming him for imposing the lockdown without preparation and planning and subsequent exodus of migrant workers in the same way as Modi did for the exodus of people from big metros. And his so-called capitalist friends, for whom he is accused of working, must have been helped. It is true that the Modi government was unprepared for such a catastrophe and his call to drive away the coronavirus by lighting candles and beating utensils ignored the logic and scientific flair of which he often speaks.
However, people forget that apart from the Modi government, there were 30 other elected governments in different states and two union territories. Yes, India failed to tackle the menace like the rest of the world, but it was a collective failure of all the governments and one person cannot be blamed for the delivery system that India had built over the decades.
The problem with the Congress party is that it is in extraordinary haste to replace Modi and put Rahul Gandhi in the prime minister’s chair. During the pandemic, the Congress party came to the fore with its well-known politics of ‘shoot and scoot’. Could. It all started with the Congress party’s call for the victims. Opening the treasury of the nation is perhaps the only strategy that Congress knows so that its image can be better among the people. She is making the same promise in those states where elections are about to be held.
Rahul Gandhi was demonstrating the strategy of ‘shoot and scoot’
Influenced by the country’s oldest party, many other parties like the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) also adopted the same strategy. Knowing full well that the rural infrastructure was comparatively poor and unprepared to deal with Corona, the AAP government in Delhi and the ruling coalition of Maharashtra, of which the Congress party is a constituent, asked the people not to panic and there. Made no effort to hold back. There is no evidence that the AAP government had announced to leave the city of migrant laborers in Delhi’s slum colonies, but there is evidence that no effort was made to stop them. Instead, the AAP government provided them travel facilities in Uttar Pradesh up to the borders of Delhi. The same panic tactic was also seen in Mumbai, where false rumors were spread about special trains to take migrants back home.
Last week, when Rahul Gandhi was speaking in the Lok Sabha, he was demonstrating this ‘shoot and scoot’ strategy. At that time the issue was the debate on the Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address in the joint sitting of both the Houses. Rahul Gandhi deviated from the topic and blamed everything on the Modi government and got busy with his program without listening to the Prime Minister’s answer. The responsibility of their rescue has now fallen on the inept shoulders of the party leaders.
As Modi is used to, he hit back at the Congress party and uprooted the dead bodies of the Congress party’s rule. Perhaps the time has come for the Congress party to understand that there is a big difference between having a constructive opposition and being in a hurry to make a particular leader the Prime Minister through negative statements and negative mindset.
