That is, the pension certificate can be accessed on the Digilocker app. In this episode, Bank of Maharashtra has made a big announcement saying that it will issue pension certificate on DigiLocker. 1. First you need to log in to your account on Digilocker web or open Digilocker app on your smartphone.
2. To sign-in, it will ask you for your Aadhaar number or registered phone number along with a 6 digit security pin. You will receive an OTP to access your DigiLocker.
3. Once you have successfully logged in, look for “Bank of Maharashtra Pension Certification”. Otherwise, you can also search for “search documents” in the menu on the left side of the website. Write “Pension Document” here and it will give you multiple options. Now, select “Bank of Maharashtra”
4. After that, it will show you a short form in which you have to enter the pensioner’s date of birth and PPO number.
5. After that tap on the checkmark below the line of PPO number where it will read – “Accept DigiLocker to share my details with issuers to share my documents.” After that click on “Get Document” to get pension certificate.

Facility also available on WhatsApp

If you want, you can also get the facility of Digilocker on WhatsApp of your phone. For this you just have to send a message. You have to message on MyGov’s WhatsApp number 9013151515 by writing hi. After this you will be told some instructions which have to be followed. With this you can view or download many of your documents on Digilocker. You can get such documents only by writing a message on WhatsApp.
