However, Indian Oil says that its prices are expected to come down significantly in the coming times. Surya Nutan is a modular system. It has been designed according to the need.
Works in hybrid mode too
The Surya Nutan stove also works on hybrid mode. This means that apart from solar energy, other sources of electricity can also be used in this stove. The insulation design of the Surya Nutan minimizes the radiation and heat loss of the sun. Surya Nutan is available in three different models. Its premium model can cook a complete meal (breakfast + lunch + dinner) for a family of four.
PM Modi challenged the company
Indian Oil says that it has developed inspired by the challenge received from the Prime Minister. Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address on September 25, 2017 challenged the officials of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas to develop a solution for the kitchen, which is easy to use and replaces the traditional chulhas.
