India is filling the pace of development even in the night. The construction works are being completed fast. As a result, the use of electricity has also increased at night. Bihar is at the forefront in this matter. This claim of ISRO night time light report has been done in
The report released by ISRO’s National Remote Sensing Center (NRSC) says that states like Bihar, Manipur, Ladakh, Kerala and Arunachal Pradesh are at the forefront in terms of night time light. Know, how night time light was detected and what is the meaning of increasing night time light.
today’s big news
How was it detected?
To detect night time light, scientists used pictures of Earth taken from satellites. These pictures taken at night were analysed. These were called night lights. These pictures show that in which states the work is going on even at night. Human activity is increasing even at night. It also has a positive effect on the country’s economy. The report says, for example, in the last 8 years, 50 thousand kilometers of national highways have been constructed in the country. Even this has increased the figure of night time light.
Meaning of increasing night time light?
Night time light depends on many factors, such as GDP, poverty, population, use of electricity, crime rate, climate change. Over the past decade, economists have found that night time light helps measure economic growth, poverty, and inequality. Especially in those places and states where the correct information about the figures is not available or the figures do not exist at all. Its increase in night time light figures means that human activity is increasing there.
At present, data from the National Remote Sensing Center (NRSC), NASA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) have been used to prepare the report.
This state is at the forefront of night time light in 10 years
