Who organizes the event?
The National Film Awards are organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in which the entire work is done by the Directorate of Film Festivals. Best Feature Film- Swarna Kamal and Rs 2.5 lakh
Indira Gandhi Award- Swarna Kamal and one lakh 25 thousand rupees
Nargis Dutt Award- Rajat Kamal and one and a half lakh rupees
Best film on social issues- Rajat Kamal and one and a half lakh rupees
Best Children’s Film- Swarna Kamal and one and a half lakh rupees
Best Assamese film- Rajat Kamal and one lakh rupees
best movie- Rajat Kamal and one lakh rupees (This is the prize money in the category of many best films. )
Best Actor- Rajat Kamal and 50 thousand rupees (there is so much prize money in individual awards. At the same time, director’s prize money is more.
non feature film These films have prize money of 50 thousand or 75 thousand rupees with Rajat Kamal.
Who will get the award?
The Best Feature Film award went to Suriya’s film Soorarai Pottru, while the Best Actor award went to Suriya and Ajay Devgan. At the same time, Tulsidas Jr. for Best Hindi Film, Aparna Balamurali for Best Actress, Biju Menon for Best Supporting Actor will be given the award.
