Employees Pension Scheme: Till March 4, 8,897 people have applied under the Employees Pension Scheme. If you have not applied for higher pension till now, you can apply before May 3.

Employees Pension Scheme: Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) Employees Pension Scheme (EPS) more pension through (EPFO Higher Pension) Applications have started to apply for. Employees can apply for this till May 3. EPFO has given a great opportunity to its subscribers to choose a higher pension option. Its deadline was earlier March 3, which has now been extended. But, still many people have doubts whether they should go for this high pension or not? Let us tell you that till now more than 8,000 EPFO subscribers have applied online for more pension.
Apart from this, 91,258 online applications have been received from retired EPS members. These are the retired employees who did not opt for higher pension before September 1, 2014. The last date period for such employees is over. Let us tell you, on March 4, the application for these retired employees has been closed.

More than 8,000 members applied
The government is making every possible effort to promote the EPFO joint option. It can be submitted online till May 3, 2023. In respect of persons who were EPF members as on 01.09.2014, priority is being given to online applications by employees. February 27, 2023 and already 8,897 members have applied to their employers.

- To avail more pension, you must first go to https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberInterfacePohw/member.
- Here you will see the Pension on Higher Salary tab. Click on it.
- Now you will see a new option Joint Application Form.
- After this fill all the information asked and click on the OTP button.
- Now OTP will come on your phone on the number linked to Aadhaar, enter it.
- Explain that under EPFO, employees and employers contribute 12-12 percent of the salary. Out of 12 per cent of the employer, 3.67 per cent is divided into EPF and 8.33 per cent into EPS.
