Indian Railways will start ‘Bharat Gaurav’ AC tourist train, Garvi will visit Gujarat Heritage

Catering and Tourism Corporation of India (IRCTC) Will run Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC tourist train under ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ scheme. This “Garvi Gujarat” Yatra will start from Delhi Safdarjung station on 28 February. This train tour has been designed under the government’s “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” scheme. India’s Vibrant Gujarat Has been done to show the heritage. State of Art Bharat Gauravi Deluxe AC Tourist Train with First AC and Second AC Class will be operated for all inclusive tour for 8 days.

Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train

The tourist train comprises 4 First AC coaches, 2 Second AC coaches, a well equipped Pantry Car and two Rail Restaurants. In this, seating arrangements have been made for 156 tourists simultaneously. Major pilgrimage and heritage places of Gujarat i.e. Statue of Unity, Champaner, Somnath, Dwarka, Nageshwar, Bet Dwarka, Ahmedabad, Modhera and Patan will be major attractions of the itinerary.

EMI payment option to customers

Tourists can also board/deboard this tourist train at Gurugram, Rewari, Ringas, Phulera and Ajmer railway stations. For the convenience of the customers, IRCTC has provided the EMI payment option to the customers along with the payment gateway.

Earlier the train ran under the name of Bharat Darshan.

Earlier a similar train used to run by the name of Bharat Darshan train. Its fare was Rs 900 per day for a passenger in sleeper class and Rs 1500 per day in third-AC. But this train was closed in April 2022. This train had completed 16 trips from January to March 2022 and earned around Rs 13.15 crore.
