Indian Railway Special Train: Indian Railways has announced to run 51 special trains for the purpose of providing relief to the passengers. This Train Christmas (Christmas) and new year (new years) will be run to manage the crowd. These trains will be run by the Railways for Kerala. Southern Railway has said in its statement that 17 special trains (special train) will be run for many places in Kerala itself. According to the notification issued by Southern Railway, these trains will be operated for various zones in Kerala.
According to the information given by the Indian Railways, 34 Chakkar trains will be run in the South Railway zone. Apart from this, 22 special trains will be run in the South Central Railway zone. At the same time, 8 special trains will be run for South Special Train and four special trains will be run for East Coast Railway. In this way, Railways will operate 51 service trains in view of New Year and Christmas. Due to which the passengers will get a lot of relief.
For Christmas and New Year, these 51 Chakkar trains will be run from December 22 to January 2, 2023. After this these trains will be stopped. Railways told that these trains will be run to reduce the crowd of people at the stations. Significantly, for special trains, railways charge more fare than normal trains.
There was a demand to run a special train
Recently, Thiruvananthapuram MP Shashi Tharoor had expressed concern that the Railways is not running New Year and Christmas special trains even after the demands of the people. Along with this, the Railway Minister had demanded from Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav in this matter. He wrote in his tweet that Keralites are surprised that Indian Railways has not announced any special train this year for the annual Christmas and New Year rush. He said that the number of people living and working outside Kerala is high. For this reason, there was a demand to run a special train.
Special trains were also run during the festival season
Significantly, the Railways had announced to run several special trains during the month of October. These special trains were run for about 1 month, which were operated from Delhi, Mumbai to Bihar, UP and different places of the country. Due to which the railway passengers got a lot of relief.
