Coronavirus New Research Study: The corona epidemic, which has troubled countries around the world for more than two years, is still not completely over. The world has not fully recovered from the devastation caused by this COVID in the first and second phases. Fortunately, during this time the corona vaccine was made and many options became available for its treatment. Otherwise, Corona would have been causing havoc even in the third and fourth phases! However, thousands of research and studies have been done on the corona virus so far and are still being done. In this sequence, IIT Delhi has also acquired some new information in research studies.
Researchers from IIT ie Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi have studied the emergence of corona virus (Sars-Cov-2) in the human body. It is being claimed that the medium can help solve the mystery of the development of the COVID-19 disease, the ability of the virus to evade the immune system and the origin of its variants.
The team that studied the process of virus emergence in humans includes 7 members. According to this seven-member research team, the number of ‘CpG’ in the virus’s genome is associated with the ability of the virus to mutate, defend the immune system and cause disease.
The researchers found that the rate of CpG degradation from the Sars-Cov-2 genome slows down sharply a few months after the virus has originated in the human body. According to Professor Manoj Menon of IIT Delhi, this is new information in a way, which can be of great help in the future.
Professor Manoj Menon of IIT Delhi said, “We studied the reduction of CpG in the virus genome during the first 17 months of the epidemic in more than 170 million human infections.” He said that our research sets the necessary framework for future studies for the complications between the virus and the human body that lead to low CpG.
