If this is written by mistake on the number plate of your car, then be careful… the challan can be deducted!

Whenever you drive a car, you take special care of helmet or seat belt etc., but do some carelessness about the number plate of the car. Actually, many people write on the number plate of the car after any post or caste etc. to show their status. But, do you know how this can be a problem for you.

In fact, in Rule 50 and 51 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1990, many rules have been written regarding number plates. Due to these rules, you cannot tamper with the number plate of the vehicle. It is advised that the same number plate should be kept as the number plate is found from the RTO.

There are some rules for putting the number plate on the vehicle under rules 50 and 51. Under these rules, the head, sarpanch, or any caste category cannot be written on the number play of the vehicles. That is, you should never write such words on the number plate of the vehicle.

Even you cannot tie lemon-chilli, black cloth etc. on the number plate. If you do so, you may have to face the police challan.

Explain that if there is a violation, it is an offense punishable under section 192 (1) of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. In such a situation, the police can take action against you. Apart from this, high security number plates have also been made mandatory in many places.
