How to file complaint against bank in RBI?

For this, first of all, you have to log in to the RBI’s complaint portal cms.rbi.org.in. Then you have to click on File a Complaint. Then you have to enter the captcha shown on your screen. After this a new page will open and on this you will have to enter your name and mobile and click for OTP. After this, you will have to enter the name of the bank and complete details of the complaint. Here you can also demand compensation from the bank. Finally you have to click on review and submit. After this you will get the complaint number.

You can also send your bank’s complaint offline to RBI. For this, you have to write a letter to RBI with full details of the complaint and it should also be signed by you. You have to send this letter to ‘Centralised Receipt and Processing Centre’, 4th Floor, Sector 17, Chandigarh, Pincode – 160017.
